Edoardo Agamennone has more than 15 years of experience in doing business with China, including 7 years in private practice with leading law firms both in Europe & China, 7 years as manager for multinational companies, as well as various experiences as investor, board member and mentor. Throughout his career, he has advised a great number of investors, multinational companies, governments, sovereign funds, banks and other financial institutions on investment projects and corporate transactions in more than 30 jurisdictions worldwide.
Agamennone holds a LLB from the University of Rome III, a LLM degree in Chinese law from the University of Hong Kong and a PhD in financial and management studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London. He is the author of several publications in the field of China’s financial system, Chinese outward foreign direct investments, China-Europe and China-Africa commercial relationships, energy and corporate law.
Arsia Amir-Aslani has been the Program Director of the Advanced Master’s “Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Management” Degree at Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France from 2009/10- 2018/19. He has more than 20 years of experience in the biotechnology sector from a capital market, consulting and industry perspective. He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Structural Pharmacology from the University of Paris, Pierre & Marie-Curie (Now Sorbonne Université), and an MSc in International Management (University of Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne).
After a career in investment banking and healthcare consulting, has returned to the academic world as a Professor of Management of Technology & Finance where he has implemented a multidisciplinary program geared towards the needs of scientists. Before joining Grenoble Ecole de Management in 2009, he managed his own market intelligence and investor relations consultancy. Prior to that, he was Vice President for Corporate Development and Strategy at Crucell, a dual-listed (NASDAQ, Euronext: Amsterdam) Dutch biotechnology company. Dr. Amir-Aslani has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed as well as practitioner-oriented journals.
Alessandro Arduino is the principal research fellow at the Middle East Institute (MEI), National University of Singapore. He is the co-director of the Security & Crisis Management International Centre at the Shanghai Academy of Social Science (SASS-Polito) and an external associate at Lau China Institute, King’s College London.
His two decades of experience in China encompasses security analysis and crisis management. His main research interests include China, Central Asia and Middle East and North Africa relations, sovereign wealth funds, private military/security companies, and China’s security and foreign policy.
Arduino is the author of several books and he has published papers and commentaries in various journals in Italian, English and Chinese. His most recent book is China’s Private Army: Protecting the New Silk Road (Palgrave, 2018). He has been appointed Knight of Order of the Star of Italy by the president of the Italian Republic.

Throughout his career, Joffrain has been Strategic Consultant in McKinsey& Co. working in banking and insurance companies in Italy and Europe on strategic projects to improve organizational models, service levels and business strategies.
He holds a cum laude degree in Physics, a Ph.D degree in nuclear Physics and has been Fulbright Research Scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, MA). He studied Active Teaching and General Management at Harvard Business School in Cambridge and Shanghai.

Jooyoung Park has more than 5 years of experience in conducting research in the field of Marketing and teaching China. She currently works at Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) as an assistant professor in management. Her primary research interests include consumer information processing, motivation, and online shopping. She has conducted several research projects in China, some of which aim to understand Chinese consumers and their shopping behavior. She teaches both an intro- and an advanced-level course in Marketing and has won an excellent teacher award in 2017 at PHBS.
Jooyoung Park holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Iowa, a M.S. in the field of Department of Management Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and a B.B.A. from Kyungpook National University. She has published papers in marketing, psychology, and information systems, and her work has appeared in multiple media outlets. She has also presented her work in international conferences for over 10 years.
Roberto Zuccato is graduated in Economics from the University of Torino, with Executive training at the Darden School of University of Virginia. He is affiliate Professor of Brand Strategy and Innovation at ESCP Europe – Torino with courses in Brand Strategy, International Marketing, New Product Development and Sales&Negotiation. He teaches in various MBA and Executive programs.
He studied Active Teaching and Case Writing at Harvard Business School in Boston and Mumbai. Zuccato dedicated nearly 20 years in Sales and Marketing, working for Lavazza Coffee, Bacardi-Martini, FCA, Alfa Romeo and Maserati. As an International executive, his primary focus has been in premium consumer sectors where brand image and desirability are critical to growth and value creation.
Ten years ago Zuccato started his own Entrepreneurial career, acquiring and relaunching Fontana Couture, an high-end fashion house founded in 1928, and at the same time developing new ventures in the digital fashion world, Brandsdistribution.com and FashionUp.ro. He is also active in investing, mentoring and tutoring start-ups in the on-line digital world.
